The Victorian Government has introduced a 20% registration rebate to help with cost-of-living pressures.
Eligible Victorians can apply for a rebate on light vehicle registration fees for the 2025–26 financial year through Service Victoria. The rebate applies to eligible light vehicles, such as cars, utes, motorcycles and other personal vehicles under 4.5 tonnes. Applications opened on 1 June 2026 and are managed through Service Victoria.
This may be helpful for PwMS members, carers and families who rely on their vehicle for appointments, shopping, work, community activities and day-to-day independence.
