Proposed Amendment; It is proposed to widen eligibility to include someone who wishes to be a member on behalf of or in honour of someone for whom they have been a carer.
Proposed amended clause 3.1: “That a natural person who is a citizen of Australia, who has multiple sclerosis or a similar neurological disorder, or who is or has been a carer for a person with such a condition; and who is nominated or approved for membership in accordance with these rules, shall be deemed eligible for membership of the Association on payment of any entrance fee and annual subscription payable under these rules.”
